About

The Publisher

Ilios Creative is a methodology publishing house. We develop, document, and distribute original frameworks in decision science, execution methodology, and governance architecture. Every framework in our catalogue was built to solve a specific problem that existing thinking could not reach.

We are a division of Asteris Labs, a decision governance infrastructure company based in Sydney, Australia. Where Asteris Labs implements decision systems for organisations, Ilios Creative publishes the intellectual property that underpins those systems — making it accessible to anyone who refuses to operate on borrowed ideas.

The Publisher

Nicolaos Lord is the creator of every framework in the Ilios Creative catalogue. A systems thinker and decision architect, his work sits at the intersection of governance, mythology, and operational design. He builds systems that tell people what to do next — grounded in truth, with compounding accuracy.

His approach treats mythological archetypes as compression codecs for complex governance concepts. This is not decoration. It is a functional design choice that makes sophisticated decision systems portable, memorable, and enforceable in environments where 40-page policy documents go unread.

The Name

Ilios (Ηλιος) is the Greek word for sun. In mythology, Helios was the Titan god of the sun, the guardian of oaths, and the god of sight — the force that illuminates, radiates, and makes truth visible. The publishing house was named for the function it serves: what the vault holds, the sun reveals.

The Architecture

Ilios Creative publishes original frameworks — the intellectual property. Asteris Labs implements those frameworks through consulting engagements — the service delivery. One Horn Pty Ltd holds the IP — the vault. This separation exists because publishing, implementation, and protection require different structures and serve different audiences.

If you are here to learn, you are in the right place. If you are here to implement, visit Asteris Labs.
